In south Louisiana the name Bordelon has close ties to General Aviation. Just look on a Houston sectional chart east of Lafayette in Breaux Bridge and you'll find Bordelon Airstrip L28. Even the county road has the family name. As a young boy, Greg would hang around his uncle's shop and watch the Cubs, Champs, Taylorcrafts, Stinsons, and the like fly in to be cared for and receive the respected Bordelon touch. Watching Greg fly and care for his Cessna and Mustang II is a tribute to his heritage.
Flying lead or tight on your wing Greg is a strong and consistent team member. Along with his skills as a pilot there is a unique sense of humor. Who else but a Louisiana boy would have an alligator colored airplane that drags its tail.
