Kong" There are always a LOAD of shows and expos in Hong Kong but because Hong Kong is so crap at advertising stuff (seriously, Hong Kong is crap at advertising events), people usually miss all the shows and expos. Shows and Expos calander || Previous Shows and Expos worth Mentioning Sources of Info The "South China Morning Post" has a section called the "City Planner" in the City section of the newspaper everyday with the list of upcoming shows and expeditions (I do not believe in going to sleep before reading that section of the newspaper). Hong Kong's "bc Magazine" also has news about upcoming stuff so everyone can check on that. bc Magazine is free at some hotels, coffee shops and most of the info is available on their website anyways (hk.bcmagazine.net). "Milk" magazine is also a good source of anyone who needs information on coming shows and expos. Usually, Milk tends to focus on fashion expos, photography expos...very designer type stuff so people interested in that area should pick up Milk magazine (available at most local mag stores...only in Chinese though). The new Hong Kong oriented magazine "CityVibe" has info no lifestyle in Hong Kong so should have stuff about upcoming gigs, shows, expos...all that. I haven't picked up one myself yet so can't really comment on that. |
