"Central" Eating in Central is a definate part of living in Hong Kong. Not only is "Lan Kwai Fong" here, there is a whole range of restuarants here for people to choose from. Again, for this section...I need e-mailed help!! CONTRIBUTE PEOPLE!! I have a nice list of Central restaurants to try and so I will add more soon (This includes more info on Lan Kwai Fong, Casa Patisserie and so forth...so CHECK BACKKKKKKK!)
Because I know you won't read EVERYTHING
that's here (because it IS a lot) so for quicker reference: Starbucks (Wellington Street) - When it's raining, get a mocha
Pizza Milano (Cochrane Street) - Lamma Power!! A nice pizza place (9/F, Cheung Hing Comm. Bldg., 37-43 Cochrane St., Central), "Pizza Milano". It offers traditional style Italian pizzas (I've had it with American style pizzas...no wait...I still love them) and is a branch store from the "Pizza Milano" on Lamma Island. I haven't got much to say about this place but I remember the service was very good and the Salmon salad was really great as well...not a very useful review. Oliver's Super Sandwiches (Prince's Building) - Why do we even need one in Festival Walk? "Oliver's Super Sandwiches" (2nd floor, Prince's Building) is, as most people know, a deli type store. Offering mostly sandwiches, paninis, pastas...those type of foods. Price ranges from $25-$30 something usually (the lunch set is I think $28) so it's not amazingly expensive. The Oliver's in Central is so great because it's actually possible to get seats...the atmosphere is also WAY better than the one in Festival Walk (ewwwwww). My personal favourite Oliver's lunch would be a "corned beef baked potato" (yes to spring onions) and a "Snapple's iced peach tea". That would go up to $30something I think.
