| Ian Lavender was born on the 16 February 1946 In Birmingham, England. Ian's first screen appearance was in Half Hour Story in 1968. This was followed by numerous appearances in Films and TV shows including Z Cars, Carry On Behind, Rising Damp, Yes Minister and Goodnight Sweetheart but is best known for his role as Private Frank Pike in Dad's Army. His most recent appearances include Doctors (2005) and Eastenders (2004). He was married to Suzanne Kerchiss in 1967 and they had two sons, Daniel and Sam. They divorced in 1976. He is currently married to Michele. |
