	Russell Tyrone Jones 35, known for songs like "Brooklyn Zoo" and "Shimmy Shimmy Ya", passed away for unknown causes Saturday while at a studio in New York. Ol' Dirty Bastard of the Wu-Tang Clan, who had signed to Roc-A-Fella records in 2003, had complained of severe chest pains hours before he collapsed. O.D.B., born in November 15, 1969, was a native of Brooklyn New York. He grew up in poverty, but with the influence of rap coupled with an interest in kunfu movies, he along with his cousin's RZA (Robert Diggs) and GZA (Gary Grice), co-founded the Wu Tang Clan in 1992. The "Wu"went on to sell millions of records, with the scratchy pre-hyped audacious voice of O.D.B. featured on moslty all of the tacks. O.D.B. also, went on to record three successful solo albums over the years;"Return To The 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version", "Ni**a Please", and "The Trials & Tribulations of Russell Jones." He even worked with R&B phenonmena Mariah Carey on, "Fantasy", from her "Day Dream" album. The rapper had also started his own clothing and underwear line in 1998. After many run-ins with the law, O.D.b. had seemingly gotten things back on track when he signed with the Roc. Jones, who would have been 36 Monday, is survived by over 13 children.

		After overcoming the strifes of being a black man with the unfortunate disabilty of being blind, Ray Charles Robinson succumbed to liver disease in is sleep. He was 73. Charles, born in Albany, Georgia on September 23, 1930, began his life as a carefree child until the loss of his parents and his sight (age 7). It was at that young age, Charles began to have a profound interest in music. By 1947 he had moved to Seattle and begun singing in night clubs. Over the next couple of decades he would create hits like,"Hit the Road Jack," and "Georgia on My Mind." In the mid 60's, Charles, ran into some trouble with the law, but sought help for his personal probems. Some time later, Charles began working in the studios again and making millions of fans fall in love with his music all over again. He even landed the gig as spokesman for Dr. Pepper softdrinks. This pioneer in black music will be missed dearly by the world.
