That's us!  From left, it's
David (a pastor), Christine (a calligrapher), Andrew (a businessman), Frank (a miner), Bronwyn(a youth worker) and Liz (a receptionist)
.... a bit about us
Dave is the Senior pastor of Armidale Community Church, an Australian Christian Churches (AoG) church in Armidale. He previously pastored churches in NSW and Victoria. He has post grad degrees in Ministry and Theology with a undergrad in Arts (psych major) and Trauma Management.
Christine is a homemaker, a calligrapher and a hand engraver (and she's pretty good at all of them!). Chris is a trained primary school teacher and has a Dip Teach from Wollongong Uni.
Dave and Chris married in 1980
Liz graduated as a music teacher (B.Mus,B.Teach) from UNE, taught for a year and then completed a ministry diploma at Hillsong College in Sydney. She worked part time at the church in Armidale before moving to Brisbane where she is now working as a receptionist.
Andrew is married to Kerrie and they have two children, Zoe and Isaac with another due in January 09. Andrew and Kerrie run their own business in Armidale - a Newtork Communications (Optus) phone store.
Bronwyn has a big heart for youth and has been working for a few years with Young Life Australia as a youth worker. She has just returned to UNE to complete an Arts degree
Frank worked for a while in Armidale after completing school, including a stint in the gold mine at Hillgrove. He loved the mining industry and moved off to Queensland where he is working in an underground copper mine. He works 14x12 hour shifts in the mine north of Mount Isa and then has a week off in Townsville.
Meet the family
Hi and welcome to our home page!
We live in Armidale ("The City of the Arts")  which is located on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales (Australia), about half way between Sydney and Brisbane if you travel via the New England Highway.

Armidale is rural city with a population of about 22,000. The city's economy is primarily agriculturally based. Armidale is also the region's commercial capital. In addition to this, Armidale is home to the University of New England, Australia oldest non-metropolitan Universtity.

Armidale is a pretty city with a long history by Australian standards. It is the cultural capital of Northern New South Wales with a rich musical tradition. The City has two Symphony orchestras (the Armidale Symphony and the Armidale Youth Orchestra) as well as a City Band.

Our climate is usually quite mild, although it does get a bit cold in winter ---- OK!  It's freezing in Winter but there's always things to do to get warm and the old gas heater throws out ample heat!

Anyway, navigate your way around our site and enjoy your visit --- we hope you'll call back some time!
