The Big Kids- Phrankie, Liz & Bron
If you haven't been to this page before, WELCOME! As you saw on our home page, we live in
Armidale on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia.

But that hasn't always been the case ..... in February 2000 we made the long drive from Warragul
(South Eastern Victoria) to Armidale - it's about a 17 hour drive. We had lived in Warragul for the
previous 9 years and prior to that in Bendigo (Central Victoria) and before that we lived in the centre
of NSW in a town called Condobolin.

We now think of ourselves as just about locals Armidales very much our home these days. History
has a habit of taking people back to their roots and thats whats happened to us, to some extent.
David, who had never previously lived in Armidale, turned out to be a 4th generation local with his
mother being born here, his grandmother married here and his great grandfather working and dying
(in a mine accident in 1917) in Hillgrove, just a few kilometres from Armidale - he was burried next
to HIS father (David's great great grandfather).... so that's a few generations of locals!.

Now, in case you dont know us, this page is primarily a meet the family page, so lets get on with
the introductions

David was born and bred in Sydney but moved out to enjoy country life in his early 20s. He first lived in the Riverina (Southern New South Wales) and stayed there for some 8 or 9 years after which he moved to central west of the State where he met and married Christine in 1980. We lived in Condobolin until 1985 and had three of our children before moving to Bendigo in Central Victoria (where Frank was born), then to Warragul in south-east Victoria and on to Armidale in north east New South Wales. David is a minister, currently serving with the Assemblies of God in the Armidale Community Church. He previously served in the Christian Revival Crusade as pastor in Leeton, member of a ministry team in Narrandera, Pastor in Condobolin, Bendigo and Warragul. David served on the NSW, Victorian and National Executive of the CRC for a total of 21 years. David holds a Doctoral degree in Theology as well as degrees in Ministry and Arts and is a Justice of the Peace in NSW. His main interests (outside of his family and church) are computers and soccer -  David started refereeing soccer as a youth and is currently one of the first grade referees in the North West of NSW and is Secretary and Branch Coach of New England Football Referees and has had the privilege of refereeing local grand finals for the last 6 years. He is also the Divisional Chaplain of the NSW State Emergency Service.

Christine was also born in Sydney and lived most of her early life not far from where she was born in Collaroy Plateau. She was the last in the line of 4 children and has had a life-long interest in music. After completing high school, she headed off to train as a Primary School teacher in Wollongong. Whilst at College, she had 2 trips to Japan , where she studied at the Suzuki School of Music. Chris was appointed to Warren Public School as a primary teacher it was during this time that she attended a CRC outreach meeting and met David. Chris is a great musician, playing piano, trombone as well as the euphonium. Chris has been a full-time mother since the birth of Elizabeth in 1981 as well as being an active pastors wife with a little music teaching on the side. Chris was a member of the Warragul Municipal Band before our move to Armidale, here she joined up with the Armidale City Band and plays trombone and eupho.
Chris has many strings to her bow --- a fine musician, a school Scripture teacher, Sunday School co-ordinator just to mention a few.
The all lovely Christine

Elizabeth (or Liz as shes known these days) was born in Condobolin and started pre-school there before moving off to Bendigo and then Warragul where she completed her school life at Chairo Christian School. At the end of her final high school year, we moved off to Armidale where she commenced her B.Mus., B. Teaching degree. After completing her degree, Liz went on to teach music at Armidales PLC as well as being the music director at church. At the conclusion of 2006, Liz has completed her diploma in ministry at Hillsong Leadership College, she has absolutely loved it!

Liz is home in Armidale for the new year, and maybe for some of 2007, we'll see what happens! It was quite an amazing story when Liz first got to Sydney. She was a little worried about finding a job and getting all the necessities for a house. But God has provided for her in ways that she never expected! As soon as Liz got to Sydney, she wasnt put in a flat, but billeted with a bunch of lovely girls and the wonderful Linda. She was well and truly looked after by Linda and the girls and the first day she was offered a job at a teddy bear making factory called Build a Bear! God is awesome and loves to bless his faithful children.

Throughout the year Liz has worked at Purfume Connection in Sydney, led Connect Groups for church, been             involved in worship at Hilllsong and much much more!

Andrew and Kerrie have been married almost two years now! On January 15, 2005 Andrew married the lovely Kerrie Allen (of course, now Kerrie Logan!) and have a beautiful daughter Zoe Serenity Logan. The rest of the family are all very very proud Grandparents, Uncles and Aunties!! We are just loving it! Zoe is the cutest baby ever, well at least we think so! :)

Andrew, the A of the Alphabet family (more affectionately known as Drew), was born in Condobolin in 1983 but waited until we got to Bendigo to start his formal education. Like Liz, he attended Chairo and then Duval High School in Armidale. Drew left school during his final year and transferred to the local TAFE College where he completed his training in Outdoor Recreation and Eco. Andrew has a great interest in flying and has now completed his restricted flying licence. He's even been making a few extra dollars here and there with a pilot's map case that he has invented and sells. Andrew is very skilled with his hands and is basically able to do anything that he sets his mind to do. He loves being out in the open and has earned his certificate as an assistant instructor in rock climbing and has also joined the local rescue unit of the State Emergency Service.

Bronwyn didnt seem to know where she should be born. We were living in Condobolin when she was due to be born, but Bronwyn fooled
everyone and came a few weeks early whilst we were visiting Sydney in 1985. She was born in the same hospital as her mum. She was just a baby  when we moved to Bendigo and had to wait until we moved to Warragul to start school. She too moved off to Duval High School in Armidale and
completed her year 12 HSC in 2003. Over the past two years, Bronwyn has been working at the Young Life
Youth Centre. She greatly enjoys her work at Young Life and is now running the Young Life Youth Centre
(***send her an email if you would like to recieve her quaterly prayer updateds. Bron keeps pretty busy with
Young Life, working one day a week for the church, teaching piano, organizing camps.. there seem to be
alot of weddings lately!!

Young Life is all about connecting young people in their world. At the Youth Centre, leaders take this
opportunity to do exactly that with some of the wonderful indigenous youth of Armidale. Bronwyn also
runs a "young mums and bubs" programme and hopes to work closely with Young Life for a long time
to come, she even has plans to spend 3 weeks with Young Life LA on the streets, then 3 weeks on
Summer Camp - on one  of the camps over there! It's a little more extreeme with about 800 campers
compared to 300! Bron is greatly looking forward to the experience of trael overseas by herself.

Finally, we come to Frank. Frank was born in 1987 in Bendigo our only native Victorian. Frank has been through a few different school systems now beginning with Chairo Christian School, then attending Duval High until the start of year 9. In 2005 he completed his year 12 through home schooling. Frank, like the rest of the family, is a fine musician with the trumpet (and cornet) as his main instrument. He plays in the Armidale City Band (cornet), and the Armidale Symphony Orchestra. He is a very busy boy!

Frank plays bass guitar on the music team this term at church, is still keeping active- playing and refereeing soccer and currently looking for permenant work. He's very interested in Minning out at Hillgrove (a local gold mine about a 15min drive from in town) or heading West for similar work opportunities.

So thats our family; please take a look around our site and follow the links to our photo and news pages.
