Abraham along with a Letter of Appreciation from the R.W. District Grand Master of the District of Madras by Rt. W.Bro. Kumar Ravindranath Menon, R. W. the District Grand Master personally on February 2, 2004 at a simple ceremony at Trivandrum. | |

W. Bro. Andoor Ittiyavirah Abraham was born as the second son of Ittiyavirah of Andoor family, Ranni, Pathanamthitta District of Kerala on July 30, 1919. After his early education at Rannihe passed with honours from the Sree Moolam Technical Institute, Trivandrum, the only institution then in the princely state of Travancore, for engineering studies. After special training at the Indian Ordnance Factory, Calcutta, he became an officer in the Indian Ordnance Factory, Katni. In 1948 he returned to Trivandrum to join the family business, found a perfect mate in Annamma and was blessed with two daughters and a son. He has seven grand children and eight grand grand children. |

W. Bro. A.I. Abraham has a record of distinguished service in Masonry of 56 years. He was initiated on September 26, 1946 at Lodge Katni No. 6189 E.C. by the British Engineer, W. Bro. George S. Mead and at the age of 27 he was one of the youngest brethren in the District Grand Lodge of Bombay. He joined Lodge Minchin No. 2710 EC. on December 6, 1948. He was installed in the eastern chair in 1976. He also served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Lodge for many years. He holds the District Grand Rank of Past District Junior Grand Warden. He was also exalted in the Royal Arch Chapter Minchin in 1949. He was installed the First Principal in 1998 and now holds the rank of Past District Grand Standard Bearer. He was installed Supreme Ruler of Trivandrum Conclave No. 127 in 1983 and now holds the ranks of Past Grand Bow Bearer and Past District Grand Chaplain. He was advanced in the Sivagnanam Lodge No. 877 of Mark Master Masons in 1977 and became its Master in 1990. He holds the rank of Past District Grand Registrar. He is a Founder member of the RAM Lodge Sivagnanam No. 877 and was installed its W. commander in 1992. |

W. Bro. A.I. Abraham now leads a ahappy and contended life as a social celebrity and business magnate. Age cannot wither him nor custom taint his infinite variety. Nor can infirmity deter him from ascending the winding stair case of the Lodge or to the Sanctum Sanctorum.He will remain a symbol of eternity-everlasting and unchangeable, humble, simple and selfless. |
