Introduction
	THE MAKING OF THE UK Year 8 We start Year 8 with the Tudors and parts played by Henry VIII and his children Edward, Mary, Elizabeth in changing the religion of the UK. We find out about the quarrels, burnings and executions of enemies as well as the defeat of the Spanish Armada. There is also an opportunity to research a Tudor theme such as Shakespeare and the Theatre; Punishments (including torture) weapons and fashion.
