Climb
BEN LOMOND or walk the famous WEST HIGHLAND WAY

This is ROB ROY country and nearby Stirling is BRAVEHEART country and a visit to the site of Robert the Bruce's battlefield at Bannockburn  (1314) is also recommended

EDINBURGH 36 miles (58 km) Visit the Castle, Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace.

GLASGOW 35 miles (56 km) Visit the Burrel Collection, Charles Rennie Mackintosh's house, sail "doon the water" the traditional holiday trip in days gone bye.

Helensburgh  18 miles (29 km)  Hill House, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

LOCH LOMOND. 

Hire Bikes from the Shores in Balloch

Hire a boat from
Balmaha Boat Yard in the village or take a trip round the islands on the mail boat.   Visit the Nature Reserve or fish with permits.

GOLF.  Scotland is the home of golf. GOLF DISCOUNT  PASSES are available.
