Steve came to me and said, " Dude, you wanna be in a band?" I was like, "Dude, yeah man. But who the hell else?" At that moment in time I knew Jonny was learning to play guitar from the artist formally known as Paul Challenger. I went up to him and said, "Gayboy, wanna be the lead guitarist?" he replied very gayly, "Yes Please!" Obviously because Jonny was playing guitar Niall would be too. So Niall became rhythm guitarist. However, we were screwed with a drummer!
My lil bro was learning to play the drums so i asked him and he was like yeah whatever! After two practises in the dingy hall he didnt want to play with us anymore because he wasn't ready to be in a band or something like that. So in history lessons me and Jonny questioned Mole about his drumming ability, his response to this was, "Yeah baby, love in an elevator!"
Even so, we didnt use Mole and Steve got Frank to drum for us instead. He is also known as the music man, he plays basically every instrument there is! Then i knew Jack played piano so I said he was our pianist without asking him. He didnt mind though because he wanted to play with us. Therefore, we were made! Steve the very very very keen bassist, Jonny the lead guitarist, Niall the tired rhythm guitarist, Frank on drums, Jack on piano and me the vocals (I cant even sing.)
The very first session was in my very small room at my crib, Jonny started playing my acoustic guitar that i had owned for 2 years and immediately came up with a riff. Then I came up with some lyrics and 'Be here With Me Now' was created. Niall was also there but i think he was more concerned with the game he was playing. From that moment on we have tried to make decent songs, anything crap was scraped and anything with potential was worked on.
Our first performance was at school in 'Battle of the Bands'. I was really nervous but with the support of seeing friendly faces (Catherine Scott and Grace McCann and Luisa, i think) helped reassure me. The second perfomance was even scarier because the sound system was screwed up and went down in history as the worst gig in history. lol.
We have changed the name again! The Fury was a name I made up a long time ago when we were first looking for a name. But was completely ignored. But now fate has caught up with the band and we have changed our name for the better. And is damn original.

Everyone in the band wants to make different types of music. Id like to play music which is catchy and something which you can just chill to and enjoy to listen. But Jonny wants to make like Guns N Roses music and well that aint really my sort of music. Its not Steves either. but they're ok. Dont worry people I will not let Jonny corrupt the band.
BTW! Probably bad news to Deano! I now have a girlfriend. Now its official and shes the best! Love U! x
