Søren denies the possibility of a new Aqua album (27/01/2008)

In a recent interview, Søren talked about the forthcoming Aqua comeback and he was very clear about it. "The deal is only about concerts. That's why Aqua is not going into studio to record a new album", said Søren to the danish media JP DK. We hope that this doesn't exclude a Greatest Hits with new songs. For now, only 8 Aqua concerts have been confirmed, during the Grøn Koncert.

Søren's most immediate plans involve promoting the debut album of Hej Matematik!, which he recorded with his nephew Nicolaj Rasted. The CD will be released on Denmark next 04/02/2008.

Søren admits that he would be dissapointed if the album is not a success. He believes that there are 8 songs with hit potential in the album, and defines the new single Du & Jeg like a "smash song". If the record sells well, there will be concert deals for Hej Matematik!, and Søren will combine them with the Aqua tour.
