Words From The Chairman
So much has happened in the last 12months I think the club is faced with its biggest challenge yet. The forthcomming season presents us with many goals that we want to achieve. Let’s start with the mini’s, hopefully we will have an under 8’s team going under the guidance of Darren Clarke, ,Carl and Wynne will continue with their teams as last year and a warm welcome to Jeff Wooller, Alex Wooller and Gareth Thomas who bring a wealth of experience with them to take on board an under 14 team. We have plans in place for a special needs team for children and we aim to achieve the bronze award with the F.A.W. A lot of hard work is in front of us and with the recent restructure of the senior management team the committee are going to be very buisy. May I express my best wishes to you all in achieving your goals for the coming season .

Llan Rads are ready to go

The dressing room is ready; everyone at the club is ready for the rigorous leque two wii offer. this seaon I am looking for continued improvement against the previous two seasons, from a youthful assembled dquad of players the seond younges squad this club has had in the 6 years of existence. Can this squad emulate the previous one, which won the Third Divison? I think they could they certainly possess the ability too.

I have been pleased with the way pre season matches have gone and the new look squad has gelled well together, a direct result of a busy pre-season program which has seen the team play 10 star cup and friendly matches. Performances and results have been encouraging which leads to a degree of opermisme from all, aspirations are high within the camp. However with such a young squad we must all show patients, the squad is capable of having a good season it does lack experience, can the players handle this? Time will tell. What the players possess in abundance is a youghtul exuberance for success and the will to achieve, they play with no fear and fear none. These are exciting times ahead, this will be a season which I personally am looking forward too, seeing my players compete against the more experienced players they will undoubtedly come up against.

There have been a number of changes made within the club this summer: the response from the players to these changes has been positive and encouraging. There is a definite will amonst everyone to succeed. A new look reserve team containing many of last season's U16 is looking to improve on last seasons results which will lead to a healthy competition for places between 1st and 2nd team players. There can be no complacency by any of the players this year.

Division Two ovet the years has been a difficult division to play in. All the teams are more than capable of taking points off each other; I see no change there this year. I wish all the players and opposing teams the very best this season.
