SmackDown! Results- February 8, 2001

On the 2/8 edition of "Smackdown", Chris Benoit and Perry Saturn teamed up to defeat The Hardy Boyz. This was a good match as it went about 5 minutes. Jeff Hardy was doing all his big moves and made them look really good, however it makes you scared watching that one day he could really hurt himself. The finish came when Jeff Hardy hit the swanton bomb on Benoit but after being distracted, Benoit applied the Crippler Crossface and got Jeff to submit.

SmackDown! Results- February 15, 2001

Chris Benoit was all over "Smackdown" this week from Long Island, New York in the Nassau Coliseum. Benoit faced Steve Austin which was a very good match. They both worked back and forth with Benoit getting the Crippler Crossface on Austin but Austin reached the ropes. Both brawled outside all over the announce table. After this Triple H came out and threw a chair in to Benoit while Triple H distracted the ref. Austin got Benoit with the chair and hit the stunner on Benoit for the 1-2-3. Later in the Main Event between The Rock and Triple H, Austin came out and started fighting with Kurt Angle who attacked The Rock. With all four men in the ring, Benoit came out and helped Angle attack Austin as the show went off the air with Benoit holding Austin in the Crossface.

SmackDown! Results- February 22, 2001

Before Benoit's match the Michael Cole announced that at "No Way Out" it would be a 4 Corner's Match for the Intercontinental Title where Chris Jericho would defend the title against Chris Benoit, X-Pac, and Eddy Guerrero. The tag match on "Smackdown" featured Chris Benoit & Eddy Guerrero taking on Chris Jericho & X-Pac. Jericho and X-Pac fought throughout the match where Jericho would flip X-Pac into the ring when he tagged him and X-Pac would got to the floor when Jericho needed the tag. Benoit and Guerrero took these openings to double team Jericho and stomp him in the corner. When Eddy went for the huricanrana off the top rope, Jericho reversed it and hit Eddy with a missile dropkick instead.
Jericho then went for the Lionsault on Benoit but X-Pac kicked him as he jumped off the ropes and then Benoit put Jericho in the crossface for the win. After the match, X-Pac and Justin Credible beat up on both Benoit and Guerrero.

SmackDown! Results- March 1, 2001

In the Radicalz' locker room, Chris Benoit told Eddie Guerrero that he didn't trust him anymore, and that Guerrero had better stay away from the ring when Benoit took on X-Pac later in the night. Guerrero said that after all he had done for Benoit, he had no right to talk to him that way. Benoit reiterated his warning, and told Guerrero to stay away.
Next up, Benoit took on X-Pac, who was accompanied to the ring by Justin Credible. As the match began, Guerrero sauntered to ringside to provide color commentary for the bout! As the bout began, fellow Radicalz Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn headed to ringside to try to cool Guerrero down. When Credible tried to interject himself into the match, Guerrero snuck in the ring and knocked X-Pac down. Benoit then locked X-Pac in the Crossface, earning a submission victory. After the bell, Saturn and Malenko attacked Credible as Guerrero and Benoit stared each other down.

SmackDown! Results- March 8, 2001

Thursday on "Smackdown" we saw Chris Benoit take on all three Radicals in a Gauntlet Match. Before the match, Chris confronted all Radical members and even offered Eddy a free hit on him but Dean and Perry stopped Eddy. First up was Chris taking on Perry Saturn. The match started with lots of punches from Saturn onto Chris, then Perry went for a Boston Crab but that was reversed and Perry got flipped onto his back. From there we saw Perry hit a belly to belly suplex and then a unique version of the bottoms up move that Shannon Moore uses by Saturn. With Benoit on the ground, Perry went for a top rope elbow but missed, this gave Benoit a chance to gain momentum as he hit a back suplex, then a snap suplex and now Benoit went to the top and hit his headbutt move but Perry kicked out. Benoit went over to Terri and Saturn came from behind to hit Benoit but he missed and hit Terri and Benoit then applied the Crossface onto Perry for the win. Next up, was Dean Malenko. Benoit went for one of his devastating chops but was blocked by Malenko but Benoit was still able to hit a German Suplex on Dean however it didn't look like Chris got Dean properly in the hold. Malenko later came from behind Benoit and rolled him up for a 2 count and from there with Benoit on top of Dean, he hooked Dean's legs and got the 3 count. Finally it was Eddy Guerrero's turn and anyone who doubted that these two will not face at WrestleMania only need to see the reaction of the crowd for Eddy coming down to the ring. However, before Eddy got to the ring Perry and Dean beat up on Chris and left Chris for Eddy to give him a brain buster and a frog splash for the win. It seems now that Chris is definitely the babyface and The Radicals are the heels.

SmackDown! Results- March 22, 2001

This week on "Smackdown" from Providence, Rhode Island it was Chris Benoit teaming up with Kurt Angle to take on WWF Champion, The Rock. Before the match Vince McMahon came out to do color commentary. The match began with Kurt Angle and The Rock, Benoit distracted The Rock, allowing Angle to get the early advantage, Angle Irish whipped Rock but Rock reversed it and hit a powerslam on Angle. Benoit came in and gave Rock a back suplex and then continued by hitting some punches and kicks on Rock, Rock came back though as he tossed Benoit right over the top rope and onto the floor. On the outside, Benoit Irish whipped Rock toward Angle but Rock clotheslined Angle and then came back and clotheslined Benoit. With Rock now having the advantage he tossed Benoit onto the announcer's table which upset Vince McMahon. Back in the ring, Benoit was able to recover and delivered 3 consecutive German suplexes to Rock. Angle came in and delivered a back elbow, clothesline and then sent Rock over the top rope via clothesline. Outside, Benoit got a chair and hit Rock with it. Rock was then tossed back into the ring to Angle who hit Rock with a missile dropkick from the top and then scoop slammed Rock and set him up for his top rope moonsault, Rock moved out of the way and Angle missed the moonsault. Benoit came in and then went to the top rope to try and hit his flying headbutt but missed as well. Rock was now gaining momentum and began punching Benoit and then hit a belly to belly suplex on Benoit, then hit Angle with a DDT and then gave Benoit a spinebuster for a 2 count which Angle broke up. Benoit recovered and applied the Crossface onto Rock, but Angle on the outside put Rock's leg on the rope so Benoit wouldn't win with the Crossface. Benoit was confused at Angle's action as Angle tagged himself in and was met by a series of punches by The Rock, Rock then hit Benoit and hit the Rock Bottom on Angle for the win at 8:24.
