It's hard for me to believe that this was my very first oil painting project. It was my first assignment for my Oil Painting I class and I learned quickly the difference between oils and acrylic paints. I basically painted exactly what was on my mind, relaxing, peaceful, sleep. Interestingly enough, I hadn't bought any green or blue paints yet and I had a very limited pallet. Ironically these warm colors create a very soft mood for the piece.
