Lizzard-Breath Studios was created as a site that is primarily oriented as an online gallery and informational source for my web graphics, illustration, and fine arts images for both professional and private use.

The web design and graphics for Lizzard-breath Studios, as well as all art work, were created by the artist Elizabeth Jaramillo.

I am a 26 year old artist from California. All my life I have felt the spark of creativeness inside me, and I have been encouraged by my family and friends to always follow my dream of becoming successful.

I was able to attend private art lessons when I was younger and from there I continued to improve my skills and attend Advanced Art at my high school where I was also voted the 'Most Artistic Female' of my senior class.

After graduating in 2000, I had the opportunity of studying at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco were I remained for a year. Following that I took a small hiatus from school and then later transferred twice to different community colleges.

I have received two Associate of Arts degrees and I am in the process of forming an illustration portfolio that I will be presenting to publishers with the intent to promote the idea of publishing my graphic novel stories.

Why is the site called "Lizzard-Breath" Studios?

Lizzard-Breath was a nickname given to me by my siblings and parents as a child, noting the similarity in sound as my first name. It's a name that I'm still called by my family on occasion, and although it was once a name I unhappily tolerated, one day I was struck with the creative inspiration of this website and suddenly that nickname took on a different meaning. Now I proudly accept this name, understanding that I was not called this out of malice, but as a term of endearment from those that love me.
