During one of my semesters at the Academy of Art, I was required to take a Color and Design class. In it I was introduced to a new medium called gouache which is an opaque watercolor type paint. Here is one of my projects for that class. It is a Mandala using blue analogous color scheme with a split complementary of the red-orange. It has Celtic and personal symbols.
