About this Unit
While not every IT preactitioner is a programmer, an understanding of the process by which preograms are written is important. This unit cover all the main steps in software development: understanding the customers requirements, designing a program using the design, documenting the solution, and testing that the program meets its requirements.
Throughout this Unit, we will use a case study on Modern Capets. This is a small company with several shops selling carpets and flooring. We will see how a program is developed for themfrom understanding their requirements to developing a solution to meet those requirements.
