In this unit you will explore and analyst a number of existing websites. You will learn to destinguish effective sites and also you will discuss the design features that make a site easy to use.
Websites have joined the traditional media of newspapers, radio and television as an important means of communication between individuals and organization only, although digital interactive television is now changing that. But websites can be used very easily for two-way communication, so had a clear advantage over the other media when they first appreared in the 1990s.
you will have the opportunity to design and build a website for a client, and will learn a number of useful skills.
in order to succeed in this Unit you will need to have easy access to the Internet and a good search engine. You hould also have he use or more web authoring packages.
