Portfolio: Uni Work: Multimedia Design: Gap Year Travel Guide.
This was a group poject in which we were given the task of building a student gap year travel guide. We choose to develop an application for those who visit Australia.
Within this project I was interface designer and multimedia developer. Which was great meaning that I could spend a week writing action script and creating what i think is a great application.
The main menu was origionally going to be a student desk with items which would be taken on a gap year, however this soon developed into having the australian flag behind. The user can access each part of the screen by pressing an object.
Each content area contained a side menu. This menu slides out when the user rolls the mouse over the side of the interface. As this was a prototype a number of the screen contained an advert for the full application. Other parts of the application contained videos, vouchers and animations.
