September 27 - The Bucs have a PERFECT RECORD.  YEA!!  But enough about them, you came here to read about ME.  :)  Nothing new.  Just felt like writing.  I spent my morning getting one year historical exchange rates of the Euro and the Canadian Dollar, both vs. the US Dollar.  After getting daily pricing info for a year, I put the data into excel and made charts to depict 1 month, 3 month, 6 month and 1 year changes.  I copied those charts over to PowerPoint slides so that we can use them for Huge Presentation, which I will not be a part of, but thank goodness they've got ME to decipher all this stuff and make pretty little pictures worth THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of words.  I do like my job, I had no idea how the Euro compared to the USD until this morning, so now I know.

I've got a consultation about getting my wisdom teeth out in an hour.  Oh, joy.  I'm actually ready to get them out, they're bothering me. OK I've just written about foreign exchange rate pricing history and wisdom teeth.  I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo exciting today!  Sorry to bore the bejesus out of you.  Have a good one.

September 23 -
Happy Birthday to Rhiannon!  Tonight we're going out for pizza or mexican and then some drinking... should be a good time.  I had a crazy day yesterday, my tooth started hurting and I had to leave work early.  But all is well with it now.

Amanda and Charlie (who are now engaged - HOORAY!!) have gotten me to start doing Body For Life with them.  It's actually not much of a stretch from what I currently do, I eat 5-6 times a day and work out all the time.  The biggest change is making lunch and dinner smaller, and adding those calories in to my 'snacks'.  I like it a lot though, I do seem to have more energy.

What else - Alice is down in Gainesville right now and I can't wait until she comes back.  Our big project at work is pretty much done, and today I get to do something FUN for a change!  What will I be doing?  Looking at our historical stock prices and picking out major turning points or big changes, and finding reasons behind those changes.  Then I'll put it all into a PowerPoint slide or 2 for the Finance Committee presentation.  Hey, I think it's fun, anyhow.  MUCH MUCH MUCH better than looking at debt numbers!

We watched "The Corporation" the other night.  I am convinced Michael Moore is popular because SO MANY people won't think for themselves, and they just take what he says as truth without drawing their own conclusions (but he HARDLY puts things in perspective, he's quite biased).  Anyhow my favorite part of the documentary was watching all these people protest outside a corporate summit - and all the protesters were in their Nike shoes, Adidas jackets, etc.  Hey, if you want to protest the corporate way of life, I'm all for it, but don't go doing it while you are obviously taking advantage of it and using it!

I miss DC.  He's THE BEST.  :)

OH!!  I almost forgot the best part of last week - we all went to Wild Bill's.  Cyrus and Gary rode the mechanical bull.  Twice.  The rest of us got drunk and line danced.  It was a REALLY good time.  And I ran into The Baseball Player I met there last time.  He must think I'm there all the time, just like I figure he must be there every weekend since both times I've been there this year, I've seen him.  Ha.  Fun night.

September 16 -
HOW is it already the middle of September?  WOWIE!  Hey I think I'm cool again, though, so that's good.  I am still devoting my LIFE to working for Corporate America, but I will tell you what, they LOVE me here.  It's nice.  I do know I'm expendable though.  Just like we all are as far as money is concerned.

So I can't believe it actually happened but DC came out from Colorado.  We had a great time here in the ATL.  It was so nice to see him.  I even got to take him to my favorite place, Bambinelli's... it was Jarrett's birthday (um, can any of us believe Jarrett is 29?) and that's where he wanted to go.  Ha.   We had a really good night between that place and everyone's favorite, The Flatiron.  Yeah...

Well I have to get back to work, we have so much of it right now.  :(  And I'm leaving my blog info below.  More fun stuff.  Have a good weekend all, AND HALLELUJAH!  FOOTBALL IS BACK!!

I have a blog now, it's at www.lizitup.blogspot.com.  It's more short-story esque but it's all real life stories about, well, my life.  On the other hand, I don't use real names (generally).  But check it out if you've got the chance.
