What are "Ecumenism" & "Inter-Religious Dialog", If Not Spiritual Adultery Denounced By God And Church?

In the recent past, a statement (See below) was released by Mr. Ivan Dias, purportedly the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Bombay, "welcoming" the return to his obedience by three (out of four) young men — seminarians, candidate for the priesthood — who had departed from him a few years ago due to their rejection of Ecumenism and Inter-Religious Dialog; the young men had been misguided into joining the Neo-Protestant sect founded by Marcel Lefebvre, of which the Society of St. Pius X is the flagship.

I have already written and released to the public refutations of the misrepresentations and outright lies that Mr. Dias has uttered in his statement, although, as I do not have the same access to the press and the public, my statement will not have had as much of an impact. I recognize, however, that my statement would not be easily understood by the willing dupes of Mr. Dias, and I have therefore decided to write another statement dedicated solely to them, and designed to be understood by them.

The present text is that statement, designed as an interrogatory statement, or a statement designed to ask uncomfortable questions, to force people to think and to wake up from their wilful self-deception.

In this statement, I leave out everything else and will concentrate on merely one question of earth-shaking importance, a question that goes to the very heart of the definition of who is a Christian and who is not.

I point my reader to Mr. Dias' statement reproduced verbatim below, and specifically to a bunch of words that I have highlighted with a yellow background.

Mr. Dias is here accusing the Lefebvrist sect of "in-doctrinating" the (three) Doublecrossers into a rejection of Dias' sect's "ecumenical and inter-religious dialogue".

It is this "ecumenical and inter-religious dialog" that I wish to now shine the spotlight on, explain what it is and its significance, and demand a honest response from my Neo-Protestant reader, as yet a willing dupe of the Modernist Neo-Protestant wolves in sheeps' clothing.

Since we have here an "official" statement by Mr. Dias, purportedly "Roman Catholic" Bishop of Bombay, there is no longer any question that this sect, to which Mr. Dias and all in his "obedience" belong, officially believes in the legitimacy and centrality of "ecumenism and inter-religious dialog".

And, further, therefore, even those of this sect who privately do not believe or accept the legitimacy of "ecumenism and inter-religious dialog", such as the "Charismatics" or Roman Pentecostal Protestants, are nevertheless legally bound by it, and their silent acquiesence is tantamount to accepting and endorsing it in the outer, public forum, before the eyes of God, so that it is to their credit, if it is a good thing, or a cause of their eternal damnation, if it is an evil thing.

This much should be obvious to the most feeble-minded of the Neo-Prots.

Now, it is an incontrovertible fact that any man who is both honest and a Christian believer knows that the core of Christianity is the exclusivity of the Christian God, who strictly and without any exceptions whatsoever forbids His followers from any commerce whatsoever with any other deity or conception of a deity, as all being false and evil. This exclusivity of the Christian God, and therefore, of the Christian religion, is evidently basic or fundamental to Christianity and is not negotiable.

It is embodied in the First Commandment, the most fundamental of the Ten Commandment, and the bulk of the Bible, the Christian Scripture, both in the Old Testament books and in those of the New Testament, bears constant witness to this message of exclusivity.

Christianity, then, consists of an outright rejection of all other religion, and forbids any dialog or negotiation with them.

It is for this reason that believers, both in the old, Pre-Messianic Dispensation, such as during the Maccabean period, and in the New, Messianic Dispensation, categorically refused to compromise and worship the idols of the Canaanites, Philistines, Egyptians, Greeks, and other nations, and the believers in the Roman Empire did the same, refusing to worship the pagan deities and the deified Emperors of the Roman System, for which refusal, more often than not, they paid with their very lives, becoming thereby "Martyrs" for God in their constancy and blood.

All of the Apostles, including St. Peter and St. Paul, with the sole exception of St. John, who survived an attempt at murder by the pagan, Roman government, were murdered by the pagans for refusing to worship the pagan deities. None of these Apostles taught or countenanced any dialog or effort to confuse the True Faith of the Christian God with the "ideologies" of the various paganisms, a refusal they carried forward by strictly forbidding their disciples against such dialogs or confusions, for which refusal, also, they shed their blood, being murdered by the pagans.

Moreover, this rejection of religions as false, as non-Christian and as Satanic, was not restricted merely to the pagan and infidel sects, such as those of the Deicide Jews after their rejection of the Messias, but also to the ex-Christian and pseudo-Christian sects, such as the Gnostics, Ebionites, Arians, Nestorians, Monophysites, Novatians, Donatists, Valentinians, Luciferians, Manichaeans, and other forerunners of organized Protestantism.

Indeed, these Apostles and Post-Apostolic Fathers, and the Popes, Confessors, Doctors and other Eminent men and women of the Church, learned in piety and holiness, warned ceaselessly against those Christians, high or low, who would betray the True Faith, and they declared that if any such arose, they must be rejected as persons who have ceased to be Christians and are now the agents of the Enemy, and who must not be acknowledged or obeyed, even if he purports to be the Pope, as Pope Paul IV warned us in A.D. 1559, or, as St. Paul the Apostle warns us in his epistle to the Galatians, "an angel from heaven"!

Today, we face precisely this situation for which we had been warned so often and so urgently, down the ages, by the Apostles, Popes, Fathers, Doctors, Confessors, Theologians, Prophets, Saints, Martyrs and other eminent messengers of God.

As Mr. Dias, ostensibly a "Cardinal" and an "Archbishop", informs us, it is our duty, if we must acknowledge the man he alleges is the "Pope", and be acknowledged in turn by this "Pope" and his agents, such as Mr. Dias, we must acknowledge the legitimacy of "ecumenism and inter-religious dialog".

That is, we must acknowledge as legitimate and as holy precisely that what the Apostles, Popes, Fathers, Doctors, Confessors, Theologians, Prophets, Saints, Martyrs and other eminent messengers of God have consistently, from Old Testament times, warned us to reject as impure and unholy, indeed as "prostitution and spiritual adultery"!

We have now come to a veritable "Pons Assinorum" — A Bridge of the Asses. If we cross this Bridge by accepting "ecumenism and inter-religious dialog", we certify ourselves as Asses and as (Spiritually) Insane, the Enemies of God and of Holiness and Piety and of the Christian Faith. This is what the Neo-Protestants — adherents of the Roman Modernist Protestant sect — have done until this date.

If, on the other hand, they possess even an iota of honest Christianity left residual in them, they will acknowledge their mistake and, rejecting these, return back to God and the Truth, leaving the novelties and the deceptive pomp and grandeur of Satan to his dupes.

Today, therefore, I give you warning and demand of you, in the name of Christ Jesus, His Holy Mother, and His Saints and Angels, and of His Immaculate, Inviolable Church: What will you do; will you persist in walking against God, making Asses of yourselves, or will you forsake the Deceivers and return to Christ, to the True Catholicism?

The Choice is yours. As is the reward. Eternal Death for those who choose to walk with Mr. Dias and his false "Pope", and Eternal Life for those who reject this Neo-Protestant sect masquerading as the Catholic Church and Catholic Papacy even as it leads souls into a full and formal defiance of God and His teachings.

Here I take your leave. You must choose for yourselves today, before God, whom you will serve: Christ Jesus or "Ivan Cardinal Dias" and his "Pope Benedict XVII". Choose well, for it is a choice between life and death!

Statement of Ivan Dias: Official — The Lefebvre Movement In Bombay

Three years ago, four students of St. Pius X College in Goregaon left the Diocesan Seminary to join the schismatic movement of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. They were sent to a seminary in Goulburn (Australia), where they were systematically indoctrinated against the Second Vatican Council, the "modernist" Popes John XXIII and his successors, including Pope Benedict XVI (Pope John Paul II being accused of "silent apostasy"), the New Mass introduced by Pope Paul VI, the Divine Mercy devotion, the Catholic Church�s ecumenical and inter-religious dialogue, etc. They were further told that the Holy See is vacant and that the validity of the ordinations of bishops and priests after Vatican II, and the Sacraments performed by them, was to be seriously doubted. In fact, the Sacrament of Confirmation was conferred again on the four seminarians conditionally (i.e. if perchance they did not receive it validly before), and if a priest joined the movement, he would have to receive the Sacrament of Holy Orders again conditionally.

Disillusioned by the above, three of the four aforementioned seminarians have decided to return to full communion with the Catholic Church, notwithstanding the pressures being exerted on them by a small group of diehard Lefebvrists in our Archdiocese. I welcomed them fraternally and, after interviewing them individually, have granted them permission to receive the Sacraments. Their future will be duly monitored by the Archdiocesan Team of Bishops.

This consoling turn of events confirms the fact that many members of the Lefebvre movement are returning to the Catholic fold. Already in 2002, Lefebvrian Bishop Licinio Rangel of Campos, Brazil, together with his flock sought for and was granted communion with the Vicar of Christ, despite the hostile reactions of the movement leaders. There are many seminaries the world over which receive candidates to the Sacred Priesthood who have left the movement and wish to continue their training in the Church of Rome.

I deem it opportune to inform the faithful in the Archdiocese that the members of the Lefebvre movement and their Masses — though valid, as are those of some other non-Catholic Christian communities — are not in full communion with the Holy See. May I also recall that, since 2001, for the benefit of those who desire to attend the Tridentine Latin Mass of St. Pius V — so much hyped by the Lefebvrists in opposition to the post-Vatican II Mass introduced by Pope Paul VI — I have authorised its celebration on the first Sunday of every month at the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Mahim.

Some of the problems inherent to the Lefebvrian movement were mentioned in my Official which appeared in The Examiner on February 11, 2002. The observations made therein are still valid. I request the Clergy, Religious and the Lay Faithful in the Archdiocese to pray that the misguided members of the Lefebvre movement may soon return to full communion with the Church of Rome under the guidance of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI.
