Our symbol is the flower shown on the left. The symbol has equally dominating parts, one symbolic of the head, the other of the upper torso, as Huntington Disease may affect both cognitive and physical functions. As a disease decreases a person's ability to function normally, a negative or reversed image of the figure was placed inside the original symbol. It is smaller in size to illustrate the reduced physical and/ or cognitive abilities of the person with HD. The symbol is placed on a growing healthy flower to represent the growth of the Society.
