The Month of May is Huntington Awareness Month in Canada.
In Cumberland County, Ernie Fage, MLA, Jerry Hallee, Mayor of Amherst and Lloyd Jenkins, Mayor of Oxford have all signed Proclamations declaring all or part of the month as HD month in their areas.
An Information and Research update session was held on May 21st, in Oxford with Mr Fage, Mr Jenkins, Barb Horner, Beatrice Langille (national board member) and Jim Russell all taking part. The event was moderated by Cumberland County president Bruce Langille and was considered by all to be a success. |
