After three months of day and night work, when we thought we had everything solved on the home office side in Tokyo, we moved to New York for the final details leading up to registration. ......Every night when I came home about 2:30 or so, worn out and weary, I would find the front door locked and would have to ring the bell for the doorman. As my stay lengthened into weeks, he began marveling at my stamina and looking at me with a kind of sly admiration every morning as I dragged myself home. Finally, he said to me one night, with a chuckle, " I sure don't understand where you get the strength to spend every night till 2:30...............I am a person who loves his work, but I enjoy play, also - I took up tennis at age fifty-five and dowh hill skiing at sixty, and at sixty-four I went back to water skiiing.
