In the not so distant past, we worked from 6 a.m. until midnight. We worked like crazy, and today's standard of living is direct result of those efforts. But we did not work for ourselves. We worked to accomplish, and we worked out of a strong sense of patriotism for national development. If we had worked for such selfish motives as our own personal comforts and had gradually become lazy, the nation would not be what it is today. Sure, we had our limits, but we learned and lived a philosophy of life. And we were taught that philosophy of life by our own teachers.
