Do You Really Want to Know Dedicated to all those who suffer in silence.
How are you today. But do you really want to know. Would it matter if I told you, I'm really hurting so.
My knees are getting stiff. It's really hard to bend. Oh, I dropped my handke. Could you help me, friend?
The rumitis in my fingers, Makes it hard to write my name. Have a bad back you know, I take every step in pain.
How are you today. But do you really want to know. Could you spare a minute, Before you have to go?
My eyes are growing dim, It's getting so hard to see. What do you suppose this label says? Take one or two or three.
I have a ringing is my ears, What was that you said? No, I'm just fine. The best I've ever been.
Would you care if I told you. My days are long and sad? Could you stop and reminisce, About all the fun we've had?
I know your very busy, And you really have to go. Maybe sometime I'll tell you, If you really care to know.
The next time you ask the question, And turn to walk away. Be sure to listen closely, To the words they never say.
