I take every step in pain.
How are you today.

My eyes are growing dim,
It's getting so hard to see.
What do you suppose this label says?
Take one or two or three.
I have a ringing is my ears,
What was that you said?
No, I'm just fine.
The best I've ever been.
Would you care if I told you.
My days are long and sad?
Could you stop and reminisce,
About all the fun we've had?
I know your very busy,
And you really have to go.
Maybe sometime I'll tell you,
If you really care to know.
The next time you ask the question,
And turn to walk away.
