| One Day |
| With anticipation of a great day
I awoke to a dense fog display Only dim light filtered through An hour passed, disappointment grew. Another hour, still no good. Was fate somehow taking a part? To show me I should never start, This crazy adventure I'd carelessly planned. Was it's destiny an unhappy end? I started this journey, Now I must see it through. I knew in my heart, That's what I must do. With all doubts pushed aside, I�ve gone too far to change my stride. So on down the road. I took my time. Hoping for some positive sign. Arriving at my destination, Once more filled with anticipation. Then in an instant the foggy curtain did rise, To reveal the most beautiful skies. All dark clouds had gone away, Thank you for my perfect day. |
