Welcome to Little People's Playhouse Home Day Care! My name is Erika , and I am a mother of three children, ages 17, 14, and 9.
I completed my Early Childhod Diploma in Hungary ( Europe).
My goal is to give your child a clean, happy, loving, learning, home environment. I feel that children deserve many of the same rights as adults, so they will be treated with respect. Children need quality, reliable, daycare in order to thrive and grow. This is most crucial in the earliest years, when children are developing at a phenomenal rate. Young children also require consistency of care in order to feel secure. I believe that this type of care can only be provided by a home care situation, in which the child interacts with the same caregiver all day, each day.
My program is a mix of free play, art - craft, singing , phonics. Through a mixture of guided and undirected creative play, children in my care will have the opportunity to learn how to sign and identify color, shapes, textures, numbers, letters, animals, seasons, feelings, senses, nutrition,manners, basic science and math concepts, and creative concepts such as "pretend" play, art, music, movement, and dance.
I started my daycare business in order to provide quality, reliable daycare for my own children. My goals are to provide a positive, safe, nurturing environment to all of the children in my care. I realize that most parents in today's society do not have the opportunity to stay home with their children, so I intend to offer the next best option.
Your precious little ones will learn and grow in a small, friendly home preschool atmosphere. My goal is to provide your child with a relaxed, caring, and safe environment. The relationship I have with my day care families is very important to me. Parents need to know their child is in a responsible, loving, and caring atmosphere and feel good about the quality of their child's care while they must be away at work.
Each child offers their own unique talents and way of learning. They learn so much from each other. I love nothing more than hearing from the parents that what I am teaching their children is showing up at home! Whether it is spelling their names at home, or recognizing the letters of their friend's names in their alphabet book, it motivates me to continue doing what I do. I know that I am having a positive impact on that child's growth and development. I was recently asked what I saw myself doing in five years and I responded that I can't imagine myself doing anything other than providing child care.
