Was murdered by a man named Louis. My grandmother, Stella Mae Smith, and bro-
ther Barney Smith were only two survivors. Were said to have hidden between
two feather mattresses and in the clock. Stella was 4 years old and presum-
ably put Barney (My Uncle Bon) in the clock. Stella was raised by various
