I have been with to my darling (if a bit odd) hubby, Michael, for 14 years.
We have 4 fuzzbabies, one dog, Margaret Elizabeth, an 11yo lab/shephard/boxer mix; and three cats, Shasta Daisy, a 4yo short hair Tabby, Aspen Clive, a 1yo short hair Tabby, and Mama Catt, a long hair Tabby, who adopted us.
I practice attachment parenting, support baby-wearing, cloth diapering, signing with baby, and extended breastfeeding. Kayla and Page are both 12, and are in 6th grade this year, and Natalie is 9, and is excited to be in 3rd. Madison is 5, and anticipating Kindergarten next year. Reilly is 3, and is happy to be at home with mommy and baby Aidan!
I am a full time mom to six (which according to Dr. Phil is like having 2 full time jobs! Thank you Dr. Phil!! ITA, there is nothing harder, more stressful, or more rewarding), part-time freelance artist...I enjoy most mediums(oil, acrylic, water, pencil, pen & ink, chalk & oil pastels, I love sculpture, both clay and stone, and paint minitures just for fun :D).I am an amature poet (some of which my hubby has turned into some really great songs), bookoholic, home-decorating addict, and history buff. I love cross-stitch and needlepoint, and am at my sewing machine almost daily. I also crochet, and am completely addicted to my relatively new knitting hobby! I love making things myself, rather than buying them. I love the outdoors (even though it doesn't love me LOL...I have to literally soak in sunscreen--curse of the redhead, LOL) I delight in my gardens and orchard, and love sitting in my garden watching the hummingbirds (a love I got from my grandmother). Hubby (my landscaping rock and roller) has spent the last few summers making me a butterfly and hummingbird garden, and it is fascinating to watch them.
