I love the Lord of the Rings, including, of course, the Hobbit.  I don't understand how anyone can say it's boring, or slow-moving, or anything of the sort.  I will always uphold the greatness of LotR.  Here are the stats of my LotR infatuation.

Fanfics: I am firmly against any LotR fanfic, shipping (besides canon), and slash.  It's just WRONG.
I adore the Harry Potter series.  Whenever I read any of the books, be it a new one or an old, I go through what I like to call my "Potterfreak Phase."  I can speak of, think of, write of, and draw nothing but Harry Potter-related things.  Here are the stats of my Potterfreakness.

Fanfics: I'm okay with fanfic for HP.  It's weird; this is the only thing I would EVER write/read fanfic for...		 I love them.  I love Anne Rice.  I love New Orleans.  I love the magic, the voodoo, the mystery, the sensuality, everything about it.  Here are the stats of my VC/Mayfair obsession.

Favourite Characters (in this order): Louis, Lestat, Maharet, Micheal, Rowan

Favourite Place: New Orleans, obviously, in the Mayfair Mansion

Favourite Book: VC=Queen of the Damned, Mayfair=Lasher

Favourite Movie: Interview with the Vampire (the only GOOD one)

Fanfics: I agree with Anne Rice that it shouldn't be done.  I have this opinion for different reasons than her, though.  I don't see it as copyright infringement.  However, as with LotR fanfic, it's just WRONG.
