Another way to donate to LISA, and to ensure that the League's lifesaving work for the animals continues far into the future, is to leave a bequest to LISA, League in Support of Animals.
A bequest can provide that a specific sum of money, property or a percentage of your estate be given to LISA, to help continue the organization's mission. Contact your attorney or the LISA office for details. A suggested form of bequest is as follows:

"I give, devise and bequeath to LISA, League in Support of Animals, a nonprofit organization, exempt under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501©3 and located in New Orleans, Louisiana, the sum of $_________ and/or (specifically described property or percentage of estate) to be used for the organization's general purposes (or describe a specific program or activity.)"
