Machu Piccu
The problem:  How did ancient civilizations produce such advanced systems and structures--without the use of modern technology?  For example:  the Inca's irrigation system for Machu Picchu; or the Mayan pyramid, El Castillo, at Chichen Itza?

The resources:  Our textbook, library books, and the links on this page.

The solution:  That, my friends, is up to you!

It is up to you and your group to research these civilizations and decide upon a theory to answer the question above.  You will then publish your theory on a web page for all internet surfers to see!  This page will be your final project for this class, and make up 30% of your final grade.

So where do you begin?  You can reread the chapters in our textbook.  You can check out the other books in the classroom.   You can click on any of the buttons above to check out links for that category.  You can click on any of the general links below to get you going.  You can click on the "next" button to go to the
next page of links.  Or you can click on any of the pictures on the page and see where it takes you.  How you and your group find the information is up to you.  What is important is that you and your group find an answer to the problem.

Have fun!
