Cardcaptor Sakura started out as a manga, a Japanese comic in early summer of 1996. Card Captor Sakura was created by CLAMP, a group of women artists. The manga was growing popular and the first episode of Card Captor Sakura was premiered. Card Captor Sakura aired every Tuesday evening at 6:00 in Japan. Still to
this day the anime is really popular, even though it completed the series. For those who aren't familiar with Card Captor Sakura, it's about a young girl in the 4th grade, who stumbles upon a book called "The Clow" in her father's study. She ends up releasing all the cards from the book and a small animal emerged from the book claiming to be "Kerberos" The Guardian Beast of the Seal. - He gave Sakura, the sealing wand to use to capture the Clow Cards. - Now she's on a journey to collect all the cards. - This series is split into 3 parts, the first 2 parts are the Clow Series and the 3rd is the Sakura Card Series.

You've probably heard it before, but I'll say it again. Sakura is a grade four elementary student who knows magic. Why? Because one day, when she's wandering in her father's office (some said that it was a basement, some say it was an attic, but who knows) She found this book old book that is labeled "The Clow". She opened it and a little mouse stuffed animal came out of the book, and started talking to her about how all the cards in the book is lost and how she is going to be the one who capture them or else they'll go around and make trouble. She started to capture cards,  no one knows about it but her best friend: Tomoyo. When she knew what was her best friend doing, she started to make whole bunch of costume for her to wear while she's capturing the cards. As if that wasn't bad enough, she has to tape Sakura's every single capture in her V8 recorder!! Sakura has a brother name Touya, and his best friend, Yukito, is the one Sakura has a crush one. Her brother likes to teast her and call her "monster", that's why Sakura always want to grow up nice and big to seeks revenge. Compare to Yukito, Sakura only thinks that Touya is a jerk.
