My name is Lisa Herrick. The name 'Deedle's Doodles'
comes from the nickname 'Deedle' given to me by my
family when I was very small. What I can say about myself
as an artist is that I have always loved doing things
creative. Even playing in the mud as a child was never
just a matter of gathering up mud and then patting it
down. I've always gathered attention with my creations.
I'm not so sure it's always been because my work has
been 'good', so much as different. If not different in
appearance, then certainly in process. I have not been
trained in any way, and do not like to play by the rules.
Something that people may find interesting..or strange about
me as a muralist, is that my walls are bare. I just can't commit, but
I will, I will...
