A Liquid Tone History Lesson
Hey, Tedly here. It all started a while ago when I met Steve first tri of sophomore year at Maple Grove Senior High. We were in Mr. Manthey's English class. Steve and I always talked about how cool it would be to start a band. We talked and talked, but that never happened. Well the next year we had Garage Band together third tri. Steve introduced me to Jason because we were doing a song with him. Steve had known Jason for a while because they both went to Lord of Life church. We were trying to think of a song to play and Jason started to jam. My jaw dropped when I heard him play. I couldn't believe how good he was. We ended up playing "Sunshine of Your Love" and we knew that we could play awesome together. A couple months later Jason's brother Josh, who plays bass, asked if we could play with him at a Jr. High lock-in at Lord of Life. We jumped on it and we only needed one more thing... a name. After a long process of Jason denying our greatest offers he came up with Liquid Tone. And now we are Maple Grove, Minnesota's best classic rock band.
