Happy St. Patty's Day! Unfortunately Liquid Tone is no more. But Steve, Ted and Jason have formed a new band: Smilin' Jack! We'll get the new web site link when it's done. We have a show at Segue on Saturday, March 27 at 8:00 PM. Hope to see you there and keep rockin'.

Wow. It's been over a month since the site was last updated. We're very sorry. The show in Brainerd was very differen from what we expected, but it was fun. We played very well except for a few minor mistakes. One of the funnest parts of the show was when we were finished. There were a bunch of drummers who were at the show and afterward we had a long jam session. It featured five different drummers and at some points we had Ted and another drummer playing at the same time. (The other band, Efenhiemer, had there drum set right next to ours.) Needless to say it was very fun. Unfortunately, don't look for much from Liquid Tone in the upcoming months. Steve is in St. Cloud, Jason and Josh are playing with a new band, Common Call, and Ted is playing bass with a band called Wreckage. One thing to note, you can here Liquid Tone's "the Jam" as the new theme music of the TV show "the Review." It airs Mondays at 9:30 PM on channel 19; Ted is also one of the hosts. Well, don't hold your breath, but keep on rockin.

Long time no see... or should I say talk. We had our second practice all summer today. It was very productive as we composed a new song, "The Return of Rock," and we further discussed the long overdue recording of an album. Practices and shows were put off due to vactions of Steve and Josh. And Steve leaves again tomorrow for two weeks. We are hoping to play a show in Brainerd for a local fishing contest. It is Saturday August 30. In other news Ted got a new drum set at the end of June. It is a black, Toma Starclassic, and it includes an 18 inch floor tom. Mucho noise! Ted sold his old set to Steve's brother. Ted also started working on a cable access Tv show called "The Review." They talk about music and show videos. Watch it Mondays at 9:30 PM on channel 19. We will let you know more about the show and the demo CD as time passes. And don't forget, It's the return of Rock and Roll!
