| Skate Park For Hastings We finally know that the project is going ahead. Last week the Sports Minister Mr Justin Maddon, the ex AFL Footballer handed the money over to the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council. We the Lions Club Of Hastings will be paying $20,000 dollar to this project over two years. Half the money this year and the rest next year. It is understood by all parties that in naming the Skate Park the Lions Club of Hasting will have top billing. The Mornington Peninsula Shire Council rep, for this project Ms Sue Cosgrove would come to our club as a guest speaker once all plans and details are ready for publication. It has taken us 4 years, but it's going to happen. We thank the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council's Youth Services Section for the use of these photos. Lions Make Things Happen |
