___IMPURE, an indie pop rock band from Leeds (UK), formed in the summer of 2003. With a varying repertoire, from acoustic to pumped up distortion, Impure add as much variation and excitement to their performances as a young band possibly can. At present there are four members of IMPURE, incorporating two guitars, bass, drums and shared vocals.
___Lead Vocals and Second Guitar are produced by Sonya (Bean), 17. Sonya has written the majority of the lyrics that IMPURE perform and these have then been arranged by the band to create the IMPURE sound you hear today.
___Rob (Cabbage) plays First Guitar and sings backing vocals. Also 17, he is an imaginative and highly creative guitarist who is willing to try any style of music or playing technique.
___The bass guitar is played by Matt (Perry), a slightly later addition to IMPURE, he has brought new ideas and a differing approach to the arrangement of our songs. Although only 14, he has a developed talent for the bass guitar.
___Drums are added by Tom (Bracho), an experienced drummer who has gigged with other bands in the past. Aged 16, he brings a big smile and a happy go-lucky personality that comes across perfectly on stage.
___At this early stage in the band’s life, IMPURE have already been likened to bands such as The Manics, Oasis and Echobelly. Already developing a following of fans, Impure are looking to go onwards and upwards, whilst continuing to have fun and leave audiences with something to remember.
