"Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget." -G. Randolf

By the time the friends had all achieved twenty or more seasons of adventure, they were a bit distraught. They looked north, south east and west for good hunting grounds. It seemed bleak indeed....for every place they came across they were either too experienced or not experienced enough champions. It was then that Elberath Gilthoniel suggested they travel far to the east side of Antonica to behold the wonders of Solusek's Eye. The friends were all in agreement and so they made their way from the Everfrost Peaks in the north, through Qeynos Hills, the West and East Karanas, up to Highpass Hold, through Kithicor Forest, across the West and East Commonlands, into Nektulous Forest and Lavastorm and finally discovered Solusek's Eye!
This place was a surrounding the friends were familiar with from their days together in Blackburrow. It was a dungeon! They loved dungeons best of all and this one looked promising. They had grown wearly of gnolls and this place was literally crawling fire goblins. A new dungeon to explore. New treasure to discover. New foes to face. Yes, Solusek's Eye looked to be just the place the friends could feel right at home.
Many, many seasons were spent within these tunnels. The goblins proved to be a great place to learn their skills. It was here that so many personal discoveries were made. It was in this place that Phiona first realized that, as shaman, her place in the group was NOT in the melee. This is the place she learned the art of slowing, healing and buffing. Up until this point, she had not given these things much thought.
These were the first real enemies the friends had faced together in their first real dungeon and it was an exciting time! Gillivray learned the exceptional art of luring the goblins to the others and became most efficient in commanding his warder to do his bidding. Alwynn learned the right times to snare and the benefits of nuking. Elberath learned how to die in more ways than even he thought could be accomplished. Each new creature posed a new challenge and they came together to destroy it every time!
It was also a sad time for the circle of friends. It was during their time in Solusek's Eye that they began to enjoy the company of their long time friend, Kilayl Freemantle, less and less. Pressing issues at home kept the young ranger from joining them. More and more often he was unable accompany them into the depths of the dungeon. It wasn't long before the friends began adjusting to not having his presence. It became a treat when he could accompany them, which was rare. By this time, the five young adventurers had spent nearly 30 seasons together and Kilayl's presence was sorely missed.

Phiona, Gillivray, Elberath and Alwynn stayed in the depths of Solusek's Eye until they had each reached a little over 30 seasons. Feeling they could do no more in the dungeon, they made the decision to leave and seek their fortunes elsewhere in the lands of Norrath. They journeyed to many places in Norrath; Lake of Ill Omen, Dreadlands, even travelling to the moon to discover Dawnshroud Peaks. But were not satisfied with any of these places. They yearned for the familiar surroundings of a dungeon. This is how they came to Kaesora.
Kaesora was just the sort of place the friends could get comfortable. They had a fondness for dungeons and this one looked promising indeed. Just one this stood in their way, the spiders. The first room they encountered was inhabited by three very unfriendly spiders. As the photo above indicates, allowing just one of them to get away could have devastating consequences when they returned with friends of their own.
They spent many hours contemplating the best approach to this obstacle. It was not in their nature to back down from a challenge, so they were determined to overcome this set back with the same vigor they had shown in their adventures up until this point. Finally, it was decided that the best course of action was an all out assault on the spiders. It was a risky under taking, but in the end they conquered the spiders and developed a system to ensure they would be successful on many more trips into the dungeon.
It wasn't long before they discovered the library. An area that was perfect for the friends to explore and conquer. This became a favorite hang out for the group. Many hours were spent within the confines of the library testing their skills against stronger they had ever faced to this point. It was here that their love of dungeons was established. Given a choice between wide open spaces of the open plains and the dark, musty walls of a dungeon, they would always choose the darker, closed in places of Norrath.
Kaesora was the first place they had adventured where the importance of working together as a team was moved up a notch. Their very survival depended on the decisions made as a group, as much as the dependence of each one to perform the skills unique to their profession. Even with this much testing and pressure, it only drew them closer together and made their friendship that much stronger.
