"Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget."
-G. Randolf

Phiona McRee, of Clan McRee, was born on January 14, 2002, in Halas, Antonica. Life is harsh in the cold wilds of the north land and she learned at a very young age that it was survival of the fittest here. The barbarians of Halas live by a very strict set of laws set forth by the ruling diety known only as The Tribunal. Due to this fact, a young barbarian's path is chosen for them at birth. The Tribunal wasted no time declaring the young Phiona of Clan McRee would join the ranks of the shamans and spend her life learning the art of turning her friends into gods and her foes into blubbering idiots.

She studied hard to bring pride to Clan McRee. Many hours were spent pouring over spell books. More spell casting attempts ended in a flurry of fizzling sparks than those that actually cast to some benefit to those around her. She hunted the Everfrost Peaks for hours on end with her soul mate, Gillivray. With his help, she was able to discover the secrets of her craft and perfect her casting abilities. By her fifth season as an adult, she was ready to venture further from her homelands. This is where the story here finds her.

Gillivray McRee, of Clan McRee, was born on January 14, 2002, in Halas, Antonica. Like all residents of Halas, his path was chosen for him at birth by the great Tribunal. The Tribunal nearly decided to declare the newly born McRee a warrior. However, a last minute vote dictated that Gillivray of Clan McRee was to become a Beastlord, master of the beast.

Although his path did not require nearly as much "book work" as his soul mate, Phiona's, path did; it was quite challenging all the same. He had to prove his worth for nine adult seasons before the beastlord guild masters would even considering giving him a beast of his own. He spent many hours adventuring in the ice covered paths of Everfrost Peaks with Phiona. Often, he proved his worth by protecting her against the forces of nature while she studied her shamanistic craft. He was in his fifth adult season when he and Phiona decided it was time to venture further from their home town and see what the world had to offer a couple of young barbarians.

Elberath Gilthoniel was born, (birthdate), in Qeynos, Antonica. Qeynos is a small town with more bars than churches. The streets flow with whiskey and tall tales. It was in this environment that the young Elberath grew up. He soon learned that he could make a decent living singing of the tales he'd heard in the streets and bar rooms of his home town. That is what lead him to the local Bard guild one day to persue a career in music and song.

He was only in his twentieth adult season when he opened The Blue Elf on Qeynos' busy main street. It has since become world reknown for it's loud music, free-flowing beer and the sexiest women Norrath has to offer. No trip to Qeynos is complete without a stop in The Blue Elf for a drink and a little entertainment. But it is the proprietor himself that makes the place so wonderful and it is his tales of adventure that keep folks coming back night after night.

Many of the tales relayed in The Blue Elf are those of Elberath's own adventures. Young and full of life, he set out from the gates of Qeynos at only his fifth adult season to seek fame and fortune. Though fortune may have escaped him, never a night goes by in The Blue Elf without tales told of the Circle of Friends; Phiona & Gillivray Mcree, Elberath Gilthoniel and Alwynn Thunderclap.

Alwynn Thunderclap was born in the quiet serenity of Surefall Glade, the home of all half-elves in Antonica. He was reared in peaceful existence within the safety of the glade. His parents were thrilled when he chose the path of Druidism for the protection of all things held sacred in the glade, the animals and trees.

As with all druids, he spent long hours in the woods, honing the skills that would see him safely through life in a wild and untamed world. Always a bit insecure in dungeons, he preferred the wide open spaces of woodlands and meadows to the cramped conditions of dungeons, where danger could not be seen lurking beyond the next corner. His first steps out of the glade at a mere five adult seasons were timid and cautious.

That is not to say that HE was timid. The name of Alwynn Thunderclap would one day become known throughout Norrath for his great deeds and battles fought. In fact, on any given night, his tales will be sung by the bards in The Blue Elf as both heroic and courageous.
