I have always had a fascination with the Martial arts, and first tried my hand at Tae Kwon Do as a young teenager. Typical of most young teenagers however I gave it up to follow more interesting pastimes (grils. drinking, cars etc.) At 19 I joined a Kung fu class and practised there for a couple of years before realising that I didn't have the commitment to follow it through to the end. Finally, in 1992 I joined the Fakenham Tae Kwon Do club, under the instruction of Mr Wurr, and haven't looked back! I truly believe that anyone who wishes to develop themselves as a martial artist needs some external insipration; if you don't feel your getting it from your instructor...TELL HIM!!

Lastly, I would like to congratulate you on becoming a student of Tae Kwon Do. Always remember that the transistion from white belt to Black belt is not a race, It's a journey. Enjoy it! Stepen
