The Belt system

Innocence as that of a beginning student who has no previous knowledge of Tae Kwon-Do.

Earth from which a plant sprouts and takes root as Tae Kwon-Do foundations are being laid.

Plants grow as Tae Kwon-Do skills begin to develop.

Heaven towards which a plant grows into a towering tree as training in Tae Kwon-Do progresses.
Danger cautioning the student to exercise self control and warning the opponent to stay away.
Invincibility, the opposite of white therfore signifyinging the maturity and proficency in Tae Kwon -Do, it also indicates the wearers imperviousness to darkness and fear.
