　　古德說：「若要治標，不如治本」，想要消業轉業，就要從我們這念因心做起，時時安住正念。《淨名經》說：「何為病本？所謂攀緣。云何斷攀緣？謂心無所得。」由此可見，人之所以容易得病及感染的主因，正是我們不斷向外攀緣的心，放縱諸多欲求，讓眼、耳、鼻、舌、身、意六根，始終在聲色犬馬中，貪婪不止地追逐五欲，在利益得失之間載浮載沉。，我們必須做的，就是觀照自己的念頭，止息攀緣。那麼應該如何做呢？就是不出「止」、「觀」二種方便。 　　簡單的說，「止」就是止息惡念、妄念和雜念，將心安住在一個定位上，譬如用誦經、持咒、打坐、禮懺、修善等方法，將心專注地靠在善法上，讓狂心頓歇，歇即菩提。而「觀」就是做什麼事情都要清楚明白，不作無謂的妄想，不起惡心邪念，時時覺察覺照，反省檢討，懺悔改過，所以修止觀，就是修定慧，如此一來，善修止觀，不但能治眾病，尚且亦能超越生老病死苦，即使外在的疫情如何擴散，也不會與其相應。當這念心光明時，所在的法界也就平安吉祥，因為十法界都在這一念心當中。所謂「一法界現，九法界隱」，若能常保「一真法界」時時刻刻現前，處處作主，了了分明，常寂常照，定慧等持，如此就能到達超凡入聖的境地，遠離一切的災難和恐懼。
