Karate
I have trained karate now for about 11 years. I started when I was 6 years old in Nesodden Karate club, then I had a long break until I was 16, and I have trained since then.
My Sensei in Nesodden Karate Club is Simon Chilembo. Ever since he was my Sensei when I was six, he has been a superman to me. This man can do anything! :)
He is a sixth degree black belt (6. Dan), a massage therapist and also a certified practitioner of reflexology. (To visit his homepage go
here.) I have known him since I was 6 years old, so we go way back. :)

In the summer of 2004 I got my black belt. We were several from my club who graded together, and it went quite well.
I have trained Shorin Ryu Seidokan karate since the start, and also done one year of Wado Ryu in Halden and one year of Shotokan in the U.S. Now I am back in Norway and am excited to keep training, instructing and learning more.

In Halden I started raining in Halden Karate club, and they train the style of Wado Ryu (Way of Peace). It is quite different from the style I usually train, and it is very interesting to learn new things.
Next year I am moving to Newcastle, and there I will probably start training Shotokan karate. So I'll really get to try different styles. :)
