Linda Cohen is a dedicated and expertly trained certified Childbirth labor support doula. She is also a childbirth educator as well as a well known and often requested La Leche League leader. She has provided experienced and caring labor support assistance and postpartum support to women and their families for close to a decade. Holding certifications from both ALACE (Association of Labor Assistants and Childbirth Educators) and DONA (Doulas of North America), Linda is well versed in current trends in childbirth. She has conducted seminars in numerous hospitals and birth centers. Linda has been invited as a guest speaker at doula conferences and workshops throughout the Untied States. She has had artlicels published in Midwifery Today and has been seen on CNN and the LIFETIME channel for women. As a Prenatal and Post-Partum exercise instructor, Linda had the unique opportunity to train under the renown leader in the field, Elizabeth Nobel. Under the astute tutelage of Ms. Nobel, Linda mastered her exercise techniques. As a result she is a highly respected and requested instructor. The mother of three daughters, Linda is CPR certified and has worked extensively with midwives and doctors in many of the hospitals and birthing centers on Long Island and in the metropolitan area.
