| Sometimes I wonder how these twenty years I've lived will look through the eyes of 60. Then I think, wow, if I live to be 120 I will have seen the passing of a bicentennial, a century, and a millennium. That reminds me that no matter how consuming and important my problems may seem, in the long run, I might not even remember most of them. Of course if I live to be 120, I might not even remember where I put my teeth, or the names of my great-grandchildren. The important thing is that everything can be gotten through, and if you do it with a smile you'll feel better when it's all over, even if you didn't win. Look for the beauty in all things; it's there, I promise. Treat every day as if it holds something new and exciting, and if it didn't, then there's always tomorrow. I wish many smiles and much laughter too all.... |
