POP IDOL winner Will Young has teamed up with me in a joint bid to quit smoking�and we want News of the World readers to help us.
Will has been inhaling the deadly weed for three years but now says: "I've decided enough is enough. It's a filthy habit."
I've been puffing away for around 10 years and have been known to smoke up to 40 at showbiz dos. But I'm fed up of sounding like an old man coughing in the morning.
Now here's where YOU come in.
Will says: "If any News of the World readers catch me doing it, I'll make a donation to the British Lung Foundation."
I'll do the same if any of you catch me at it�smoking that, is�when I'm out in London.
Will, whose new single�appropriately titled Light My Fire�is out on May 27, is also reading a book about quitting.
I'm going for a quicker solution. I've asked hypnotist king Paul McKenna to give me a fighting trance. Watch this space...

Jessica Garlick says she has been getting tips from Will Young for her Eurovision performance on Saturday.
The Pop Idol finalist will sing Come Back as the UK entry in the contest being held in Estonia.
She says her mum is organising a special Eurovision party to celebrate.
"I talk to Will a lot. He is the person who I have asked for advice while I've been preparing for Eurovision and promoting the single," she said.
Will just added to Popworld Will has just been confirmed to appear on Popworld TV on 2nd June. He'll be interviewed and they will be showing the video. For those of you who missed GMTV this morning where Will showed off his table footie skills, fear not! There are two more episodes to run. The Big Brother housemates have spent breakfast time discussing Pop Idol.
First of all they talked about playing their won version of Pop Idol, with Alison declaring she wanted to be Simon Cowell.
The conversation then turned to which of the Pop Idol contestants the housemates liked. PJ and Jade both said they liked Darius.
But Kate wasn't so keen and described him as an "idiot!" Kate said her favourite was Will who she thought was "an absolute gorgeous babe".
Alex then serenaded the rest of the group with his own rendition of Light My Fire.

Today is the day. Will's second single the brilliant 'Light My Fire' is out today.
The single also features 'Ain't No Sunshine and 'Beyond The Sea'.
Will faces stiff competition to make it to number 1 and will have his own chart battle this week with Ant and Dec as well as Eminem. Fingers crossed he'll be celebrating a second number 1 on Sunday.
