Equipment and Safety
So, you are going Ghost Hunting. Do you have equipment? What? You didn't think you needed any? Well take a look at what you will need to be a Ghost Hunter.
Notebook ~ So you can take notes.
Pens/ Pencils ~ So you can write.
Flashlight ~ So you can see in the dark.
Night Vision Scopes ~ To make sure you can see in the dark.
35mm Camera ~ To capture Ghostly images.
Tripod ~ (optional)
Tape Recorder ~ To capture Ghostly voices and sounds (E.V.P.).
Cassette Tapes ~ For the Tape Recorder ( make sure you have plenty).
Video Cam Corder ~ To capture Ghostly images and Sounds (optional).
Video Tapes ~ For the Video Recorder ( make sure you have plenty of these as well).
Batteries ~ Just in case you need them.
Thermometer ~ To measure tempratures.
EMF Detector ~ To measure electronic fields.
Air Ion Counter ~ To measure Ion levels in the air (optional).
Motion Detector ~ To detect motion that may be unseen to the human eye.
Compass ~ So you know which direction you are traveling in.
Cellular Phone ~ To make emergency phone calls if necessary.
Headset communicators ~ To talk with your team (optional).
Necessary Clothing ~ Dress for the weather, bring jackets or sweaters along incase of temprature change.
Watch ~ To document the time of the sighting.
First Aid Kit ~ Incase of an emergency.
Box or Carrying Case ~ How else are you gonna tote all this gear?

Ghost Hunting Safety ~ Please remember and practice these few rules. Think Safety and Happy Hunting!
NEVER GO ALONE! ~ It is safer to go with someone or an experienced ghost research group.
Check out the area during daylight hours.
Always ask permission to be on private property.
Use Common Sense ~ If you think something is unsafe, then it is. Always take the necessary precautions for any ocassion.
Dress for the weather ~ Bring proper clothing, jackets, etc.
Check Equipment ~ Make sure everything is in order and working properly.
Carry ID's at all times.
Don't Smoke During Investigation ~ This may cause imparities to film. You want to capture ghostly images not cigarette smoke.
Always notify the Local Police Department or Groundskeepers when in a cemetery at night, so they don't think you are trespassing.
